OCTOBER 2018

Mark felt the same as he always did on his drive up to the state park. A drive that he had done many times with friends and family and even several times on his own. He passed the same old houses on the same old roads, Cheyenne hasn't seemed to change much and he took comfort in that. He liked being comfortable, he liked knowing what to expect.

This drive was meant to be different though, if he managed to go through with his plan. He had weighed his options hundreds of times over. He made several plans and even fall back plans. He let everyone known that he was going hunting because he knew no one would question it. It was a regular thing for him to head up alone, especially since the troubles with Katie began. After a big fight, he would usually head up there to clear his mind. He'd be doing the same thing this time, only more permanently.

He knew there would be a chance he would chicken out, though, and he figured if that's the case then he'll just head home and survive another day.

"Survive another day," he said to himself.

He realized that it made sound like a war or an epidemic. In so many ways, it actually was. He was tired of fighting. He was tired of surviving. Yet at the same time, the thought of ever being happy made him sick to his stomach. Happiness is something he'll never have again. He couldn't see how it could be possible. He'd lied to the people that care about him most. He'd lied to himself. Then there was that night. That stupid night that he was so desperate for someone to see the truth, to know what is really happening to him, that he said things he shouldn't have. Now, if he does go home, it will just be worse for him. He'll get locked up in a hospital, he'll lose respect, he'll lost his job. He always has to be the big, tough guy. The man that nothing could break. They didn't know what he was already broken a long time ago.

He inhaled deeply. He has to do it today. He has no choice.

What a strange feeling, picking out your place of death. He obviously didn't want to be somewhere obvious but at the same time, he didn't want to rot in the woods, never to be found. He circled the same sites and areas several times, looking for the perfect place. He pulled over his truck for about the 10th time.

Just as good a place as any, he thought to himself.

He sat there for a minute, surveying the surroundings. He started to cry. He thought of his kids, his grandchild, his family, his friends. What a disappointment he'd become. He was supposed to be the rock for his family, not soft and scared as he'd always been. He was afraid of Katie, he was afraid of how much she hurts him, how little she really cares about him. It's all her fault and now she'll have to live with herself knowing it. She'll have to explain to everyone how awful of a person she is and they'll all hate her for it. They'll hate her for destroying the person they loved.

He looked down at the gun in his hand. He was standing next to his truck now, leaning on it. He'll miss so many things about being alive but he longed much more to be free. Free of the pain, free of the pressure, just...free.

He raised arm, took one last long deep breath, and pulled the trigger.

NOVEMBER 2019

THE REQUEST

Jake had first heard about me through a mutual friend of his wife's and had reached out to me regarding a cleansing and blessing on his home. The couple and their children had just moved into a gorgeous 6-bedroom home on a plot of land just outside of city limits. It also boasted 3 bathrooms, a large garage and separate workshop/space that he had been wanting for a long time. It was a steal on the price, too. They were getting everything they asked for...and more.

As they drew closer to finishing up the purchase of the house, Jake and his wife heard the tragic truth of its previous owner. A man not much older than Jake himself, had lived there with his second wife and her children. He had an older daughter of his own that had just given birth to his first grandchild. He had a good position with large company in town and enjoyed outdoor sports like hunting. Jake started to understand why the house suited them so well, their families were somewhat similar. The story didn't have such a happy ending, though. The man had been having troubles at home, especially with his new wife, who was rumored to be an awful woman. He had gone missing sometime in the fall of last year, presumed lost during a hunting trip. Three days after he was reported missing, his body was found on the ground just outside of his vehicle, a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to his temple.

This was quite unsettling to Jake and his wife but after some discussion, had come to the same conclusion. Although the house was tied to such a tragedy, the death had not actually occurred there. The home and surrounding land was exactly what they had been looking for and was at a better price than they could have hoped. They decided to finalize the purchase of the house and within the week had already almost fully moved in.

They began to experience some strange feelings in the house shortly after. Jake messaged me with feelings of unease when going down the stairs to the finished basement and of how the children refused to go into the bedrooms down there as well. He mentioned an eerie feeling he would get when he was in the shop, a large additional building just a few yards from the house. He and his wife believed in the power of energies and wanted me to cleanse the space of any lingering or negative energies and replace them with positive ones. A task I've accomplished at several other residences before.

THE CLEANSING PART 1

I wasn't quite sure what to expect as far as the property or it's surroundings but I assumed it wouldn't be much different than the other homes I've done. My plan was the same, I would first start by checking the energies in the places they felt the most uneasy then proceed through the rest of the house using my pendulum. I would then return to the hot spots to attempt communication and once established begin the cleansing, targeting any unwanted spirits or energies. I would then cleanse the space as a whole and raise vibrations.

I had been in communication off and on with Jake and set up a time for me to arrive at the home. He would take me on a quick tour, pointing the areas needing the most attention and then leave me to my work.

I arrived as scheduled and as promised, was greeted and shown around the home. I was introduced to the family pets and then given free reign in the home. I decided to start exactly where I stood at the dining room table simply out of convenience.

Right away my pendulum was active with responses. The following is a dialogue, if you will, with the energy in the room...

"Is there any energies present?"

Yes

"Is there only one energy here?"

Yes

"Do you mean to harm me?"

No

"Did you used to live here?"

Yes

"Are you Mark?"

Yes

"Hello, Mark"

Yes

"Do you want to talk to me?"

Yes

"Do you know why I'm here?"

Yes

"I'm sorry about what happened to you"

A feeling came over me. I felt...at home. I felt safe. I looked around the space and saw the kitchen. I like the kitchen, I feel my best there. I can forget about the troubles there. I like the living room, too. I honestly don't want to go anywhere else in the house. I'll come home from work, I'll cook, I'll eat, I'll sit down on the couch and watch TV until I fall asleep. I'll wake up and do the same thing over again. That's how I survive every day. No one around me, they all left and now this is all I have. I'm scared to do anything else. I'm scared to go anywhere else.

"Mark, I know you don't want to leave"

Yes

"I know that this used to be your home"

Yes

"But it isn't your home anymore"

....

"This house belongs to someone else now"

....

"You don't belong here anymore"

....

"Do you understand?"

.................................Yes

"Its okay for you to go. It's safe for you to go"

....

"Are you scared?"

YES

"I promise you don't need to be. You were well-loved in this world, you won't go somewhere bad"

.........................Yes

I looked down to see one of the family's cats at my feet. I took comfort in this.

"Mark, it's time to leave, okay?"

Yes

I took a deep breathe in and closed my eyes. I could feel the sadness at first, then it changed. It became almost a feeling of acceptance, of understanding.

"Mark, are you still here?"

....

THE CLEANSING PART 2

After completing the cleansing upstairs, I proceeded to the finished basement, an area that the family felt particularly uneasy. Moving down the stairs, I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. I passed through what must have been a sort of game area, a place where a pool table once was and through to a back hallway with several bedrooms and a bathroom. My pendulum up until this point had been quite steady, only moving when I did.

My first target was the southeast bedroom with pink-striped walls. The moment I stepped in, I felt a presence. It was not a negative one, however. I received the memory of a prairie, as if I was looking straight through wall or maybe as if the wall didn't exist. I saw a sunset and had the feeling that I liked watching horses run. It was a satisfying feeling, a calming one.

This memory was confusing to me as it didn't pertain to the home in any way. My thought was that it was much, much older than the home, a memory from before the land was developed and built on. I didn't fell as though it was directly coming from the room.

I decided to move to the opposite bedroom to investigate before cleansing the entire area. This room felt strange but I couldn't detect anything specific. I received no communication and no pendulum activity in this room.

The clearing of the basement went very smoothly and with no challenges. A good thing, too, as I still had the garage and separate workshop to investigate.

THE CLEANSING PART 3

Of the many things that attracted to Jake to the house, the amount of workspace certainly topped the list. A multi-car garage and pole building would not go unused with an avid outdoorsman and hunter like Jake. During our consultation, he was adamant that both these spaces be cleared as he would be spending a large amount of time in them. He reported an unsettling feeling in the garage and requesting that I pay special attention while inside. However, once I set foot in the garage, I felt nothing out of the ordinary. My only explanation for this was that the upstairs clearing must have filtered this space, too. A relief, as my own energy levels were becoming low and I was beginning to tire out. I stepped out the back door and headed toward the last stop.

Just a few yards from the garage stood the empty pole building, a large structure often used as a barn or for large vehicle work or storage. The inside was cavernous and I could hear every creak from the wind whipping outside. I walked to the center and stood for a moment, listening. My eyes closed, I attempted to steady my breathing, trying to focus beyond the outside noise. When I opened them to look around, I could feel myself being watched, even stared at.

It only took a matter of seconds for me to realize that I was being watched by not one but several energies. I was surrounded and more were coming closer. I could sense twenty, maybe thirty different entities forming a circle around me, watching me with curiosity. They were waiting for me to speak but they already knew why I was there.

I addressed the crowd, "I know that I can't ask you all to leave! I know that I have no right to! These were your lands long before theirs and I get that!"

They continued to stare but I could sense they were listening. I had to think up a solution quickly. I couldn't get rid of them all but I couldn't let them stay. We needed to come up with an agreement.

I called out again, "This family just wants their space, their home, so they can raise their family! Let's make a deal! You stay in your space and they stay in theirs. How about that? They don't bother you and you don't bother them!"

I could sense the agreement. Although it worked, I felt that it was just a means to an end. I didn't fell my most confident but it was the best that I could do.

"We're done here."

I turned and walked out.

I drove way from Bailey Fae house feeling that I did what I had come to do. I couldn't help but feel this wouldn't be my last time here, something was still lingering and only time would tell if and when my return would be.
